Fees & Consultation
15-Minute Consultation: Free
Finding the right therapist is an important part of the process. In this brief call, you’ll have the chance to ask me questions and get a sense of how I work. I’ll also gather a little background to see whether my training and approach are a good fit for your needs. If I believe another therapist may be better suited, I’ll share that openly and, if possible, point you toward other options. The goal is to help you find the care that best supports your goals.
Initial Intake Session: $300
Before we meet, you’ll complete a brief questionnaire that helps clarify your history, current concerns, and goals for therapy. This allows us to use our time more effectively and begin working right away. During our first 60-minute session, we’ll review confidentiality and practice policies, discuss your background, and begin shaping a treatment plan together. This session also gives us the chance to see if the fit feels right—for both of us.
Ongoing Sessions: $250
Follow-up sessions are typically 50 minutes. These sessions focus on building skills, practicing strategies, and addressing the patterns that keep you stuck. Treatment is always collaborative, adapted to your needs, and grounded in evidence-based approaches.
Insurance
I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. However, I provide monthly superbills (detailed receipts) that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Many of my clients are able to receive a significant portion of their session costs back, depending on their specific out-of-network benefits. I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to learn more about your coverage.
Good Faith Estimate (No Surprises Act)
Under the No Surprises Act, you are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for services if you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance. This estimate will outline the anticipated costs of your care so that you can make informed decisions before beginning therapy. You will receive this estimate, along with a financial consent form, prior to your first session.
